Cheam Sports FC is built around Peaches Close - our dedicated home ground in Cheam, Surrey. With teams across the Surrey Youth League, qualified coaches who have been with the club for years, and a community of parents who genuinely support each other, we offer something most grassroots clubs cannot: stability, structure, and a place your child can belong to for the long term.

Our son joined the Colts this Christmas '25 during the transfer window. We received a very warm welcome from the coaches, players and parents. It's been a very enjoyable and successful few months with the team, as we've moved up the division as well as making it to a second Cup final in consecutive seasons. We are very much looking forward to the 26/27 season!
Common questions
How much does it cost?
We keep subs affordable for a grassroots club. Your first trial session is always free with no commitment. Contact the team coach for current subscription details.
What does my child need to bring?
Football boots, shin pads, dark shorts and socks (no specific kit needed for trials), and a water bottle. We will sort out the kit once they join.
Can my child try before committing?
Absolutely. Every player starts with a free trial session. There is no pressure to commit. We want to make sure it is the right fit for your child and for the team.
My child already plays for another club. Can they still trial?
Yes. Players are welcome to come and train with us. If they decide to join, we will help with the transfer process through the league.
What age groups do you have?
We currently have teams from Under 12s to Under 15s in the Surrey Youth League, with new teams forming. Check the team pages for the exact age groups this season.
Is it competitive or just for fun?
Both. All our teams compete in the Surrey Youth League, but player development and enjoyment come first. We want players who love the game and want to improve.
What if my child is nervous about coming alone?
Totally normal. Our coaches are experienced at welcoming new players and making them feel part of the group. Parents are welcome to stay and watch the session.
Are the coaches qualified and DBS checked?
Yes. All coaches hold valid DBS checks and coaching qualifications. We are an FA Accredited Club and follow all FA safeguarding guidelines.
